Chris Hyser is a son, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a devoted member of Maryland’s 6th Congressional District. He understands the hopes, concerns, and values of local families because he lives them too.
A chaplain, decorated retired Maryland State Trooper (Medal of Valor), and proven leader, Chris has dedicated his life to service — both at home and abroad. His decades of commitment include protecting Maryland communities as a State Trooper and serving overseas as a military contractor with 7 tours in Iraq and 3 tours in Afghanistan. These experiences have forged his deep belief in accountability, integrity, and hard work.
